Many of our patients have been asking for new and exciting products to help the exfoliation process between Chemical Peels or Laser Treatments. The skin is the biggest organ of the body. One of your skin’s functions is to eliminate a portion of the body's waste products through sweating. If toxins escape through the skin they disrupt the skin's health integrity. This is one of the key factors behind many skin disorders including acne. The skin also "breathes". If the pores become clogged, the microbes that are involved in causing acne flourish. Thus, exfoliating every day is very important to great looking, healthy skin no matter your skin type. Dr. Brennan has chosen to add a “Refining Scrub” with cucumber and micro beads. The micro beads cleanse and polish the skins surface without tearing vs. almond scrubs with sharp pieces that induces micro tears in the skin.
